Use extreme caution when dealing with private seller/buyers on the Internet. Remember, if it is too good to be true, it is probably not true. Also, Paypal.com doesn't offer any fraud protection for anyone. Don't believe it when they say they do. When the going gets rough, they get you jumping through endless hoops. Don't ask how we know :(
Most online vendors are reputable and trustworthy, especially if they list a phone number for you to call them. Those without phone numbers don't want to be bothered by customer service, so beware. It is hard to be the best in the business, and being the best costs money. Remember, paying a little more might get you a lot more.
Be forewarned that gray-market Vendors (vendors that don't properly use the importing and distribution networks of manufacturers) are out to get a quick buck and typically have poor customer support and no USA warranties. It is usually better to pay a little more to get a warranty and vendor that cares about your needs.
